Model: M510 EVO 41 USAThe IC-M510 EVO is a multifunctional and stylish VHF marine transceiver that also features innovative smartphone operation technology. Its built-in class D DSC provides essential maritime communication, supporting safety on the water. Integration with built-in NMEA 2000 connectivity and two-way hailer/RX hailer functions enhances your experience at sea even more. Simple remote control through a smart device enables an unprecedented onboard communication experience. In addition, the product features a color display, navigation functions, and a stylish design that won an iF design award. It can be used for pleasure boats, fishing boats, sailing, as well as in rescue and public safety.
The NMEA 2000 network provides plug-and-play data communication to inter-connect with other marine equipment such as an MFD (Multi-Function Display.) The radio can send GNSS (GPS) position, DSC call, and radio channel data to other equipment.
When connected to the optional SP-37 speaker horn, you can talk with the crew on the deck or shore via the radio's microphone and hear any reply via the horn speaker. The RX hailer function lets you to listen the radio traffic on the deck or tower through the hailer speaker. You can also sound foghorn patterns from the hailer speaker.
Use the RS-M500 app (for iOS/Android) to wirelessly control the IC-M510 EVO through the radios WLAN feature. You can use up to three smart devices as a wireless microphone, intercom between a device and the M510, and a simple remote control for specific functions.
The IC-M510 series (including IC-M510 EVO) is a winner in the world-renowned iF DESIGN AWARD 2022. The radio can be installed in either panel or trunnion mounting and has a sleek design that looks great on a boat's black glass cockpit dashboard.
The color TFT LCD provides nearly a 180-degree viewing angle. The wide-viewing angle display has high-resolution characters and function icons. Hold down the DISP key to switch the Night mode screen, ensuring good readability in low light conditions.
With just a press of the "DISTRESS" button, the built-in DSC (Digital Selective Calling) system can digitally transmit distress information to the Coast Guard and/or other vessels. The DSC watch function continuously monitors the DSC channel (Ch. 70) for added safety and security.
The built-in waterproof speaker enhances the received audio and provides powerful, clear audio.
