This collection of little-known Spanish songs for mezzo-soprano, tenor, and baritone voices with lute accompaniment features music from the 15th century manuscript "Cancionero de Palacio," discovered in the Royal Library in Madrid in the early 1870s and published in a modern edition in 1890, as well as music of Iberian origin and Music from various manuscripts, including similar and related repertoire from other parts of Europe, will be contrasted to provide a broader view of early Iberian music and Spanish vocal music.
